So we have come up with a way to help improve everyone's drop deck for CW. We have a LOT of of very skilled pilots so skill is not the issue here. Rather, it is time to start coordinating our drops. We need everyone to run similar mechs that can help each other out and work well as a team.

Here's how this works. Below is a list of mechs grouped by priority. Buy these mechs in the order that they are grouped in. I have also included effective builds to use. Note, these are Inner Sphere mechs. We need to work on our IS game before we can start on Clans. Clans are listed as well.

When you have completed buying a group enter [1] [2] [3] beside your name. THIS DOES NOT REFLECT SKILL. This is simply to let the drop commander know who has what mechs. This doesn't mean you can only use these mechs, but these are extremely useful mechs to have and it helps when we all have similar mechs. We're trying to make this fun for everyone so we can have successful matches and begin conquering the galaxy.

Not many if any LRM boats are listed here. They are useful but only on some occasions.

[1] - Priority 1

[2] - Priority 2
[3] - Priority 3
[C] - Clan Priority

BE SURE TO ADD YOUR DROP DECK TO THE SPREADSHEET HERE.

btw these are fun mechs. You can still include other mechs in your dropdecks. These are recommendations.

I definitely have a great clan deck build going (WHK, x2 HRB, MLX), but I don't have any of the specific IS mechs listed on here...

I would consider the role most of your current mechs play. If you already have some jumpy lights with ECM, then i'd skip them for now. The TDR's are pretty great for CW. They may not fit everyone's play style, but if we each have at least one of them in our drop deck and we can coordinate them and be dangerous on the field. The Stalker also looks pretty great. I hate fighting against them. I just bought mine.

If we all play similar coordinating roles then we are less likely to spread out and lose coordination in a battle. If everyones range is 350, then we all will stay within 350 of each other. If everyone's speed is 75 then we wont spread out in a rush. Plus the TDR's are pretty good in CW and I think people will like them. I run both and add either a dragon or K2 into the mix.

The IS build deck I have that has seemed to work pretty well so far has been:

Locust 1M (2 medium lasers + 2 SRM-2's) for light rushes / backdooring
Hunchback 4G or 4P (AC20 rapid fire or lasers for days)
Jagermech S (AC5 + AC2) or Jagermech Firebrand (high hard point PPC boat)
Atlas S (brawling king) or King Crab (AC20 devistation)

This setup still leaves about 5 tons to spare if I remember right, so subing in a Cataphract, Thunderbolt, or Dragon is entirely possible. But yeah, I agree with you about getting a mix of the mechs you listed as well since some of their quirks are just insane.
