I was mostly intrigued by the commercials for Makers Mark 46. I was pondering the novelty that is the classy wax that caressed the bottle, but I wasn't about to spend extra money on an exquisitely spendy product when I hadn't even tried Makers Mark primary product. I went in that day looking for Gentlemans Jack really, but why not expand on something else of equal dough?

Do you like your drinks neat on the rocks? Do you prefer to get drunk quick by taking shots before you proceed with your man-whoring activities? Is your palate simple but thirsty? I think I found the right product for you. This is a bourbon best enjoyed in it's original state, I recommend it on the rocks. It has a rich and full, but simple oak flavor that tastes just like it looks; the ride down is so smooth that you think you are riding that donkey bareback down broke-back mountain.

If you're insecure about your lack of tolerance for harsher finishes, this will make you feel masculine and finally find an excuse to hatchet your liver.

-Smoother than a babes ass, your woman would be jealous
-Rich, full but simple oak flavor
-Very sweet
-Best neat, or a simple foundation for a mixing project
-A bit boring to drink cut with cola

Even my own father (who introduced me to whiskey) can't keep up with me drinking straight bourbon, as he akins it to drinking gasoline, but it really isn't my thing. Unless I need a palatable gift for a drunks party or wedding, I probably won't have a reason to pick this up again.

Filled in Kentucky, and the wax adds character to your dull sober personality when you bring it out to share.

45% Alcohol by volume

Sure, if you want something simple, sweet and smooth. Probably goes good in a canteen.
