PROLOG -

To my disappointment, TW was seemingly out of stock of my Hopped Cider, (probably because I grabbed the last two 1P6FLOZ bottles hehe).

Yay, an excuse to find something new to try... well I sure as hell aint going to pay $8 for a bottle of Yakima brewed hopped cider... You do know that 75% of the hops in the USA come from Yakima Valley? Yeah I used to live there, and I watched the industry erect around me.  This! Everywhere was this!

So I went frugal and decided to pick up a couple Lagers to play with...

Eventually comes the point where drinking isn't just about the alchohol, but the pure pleasure of trying something new.

.
REVIEW-

ABSTRACT:

The bottle...

  • interestingly colorful in a mild manner, while catching Leavenworth, WA's recognizable character in the backdrop.

Popping the top...

  • a sweet full malty aroma. The beer is quite pale in nature, a light lager.

To the lips...

  • the tongue agrees much with the nose, an herbal undertone paves a red carpet for a slightly sweet beer. It's not really complex, but rather satisfying, appeasing - presenting no fight. Bitterness is nonexistent, with no aftertaste... your palate will always be engaged for more.

Ultimately this is a very friendly, easy to drink beer. If you're new to beer, this would make an excellent first stepping stone for acquiring taste, or rather even a fridge stock to offer guests as an option that's hard to argue with.

.

THE COMPANY:

Website, how ever for some reason Premium Lager isn't on there.

.

BOOZE METER:
5% ABV, Te' Bourbonator approves... I pretty much always set bottles back on the shelf if they ABV is below 5% when looking for something new.

.

RECOMMENDED:
I'd recommend this to anyone, particularly beginners. This might become a repeat purchase for me as I like the flavor.
